On June 12 students from St. Paul's Elementary School will once again be out cleaning up the litter along the streets of L'Anse au Loup. They have been doing this for 29 years and are making a tremendous contribution toward protecting our environment. To all residents of L'Anse au Loup: Demonstrate your appreciation of the efforts the students are making. On June 12 get out and tidy up your properties. The Town will assist by sending a truck around to pick up junk left by the road side. Afterwards drop by the school and join the students for a 'hot dog' bar-b-que.

July 28 is the date set for the 3rd Annual L'Anse au Loup Day celebrations. If you're in the Labrador Straits Area at that time, feel free to drop by the Town Square and help us celebrate. Perhaps you'll want to challenge us in the row boat contest which will be on-going throughout the day at the local marina. Remember, it's all for fun and the cost of participation is just one dollar per try!
