There is a public meeting scheduled at the Lawrence D. O'Brien Town Centre for Wednesday, May 19, 2010 beginning at 7:30 pm. This is a great opportunity to voice any concern one may have regarding issues in the community.

The L'Anse au Loup annual Sports Week is scheduled for the week of March 22 to 27, 2010. Watch for a full Schedule of Events to be posted at this site as it becomes available. L'Anse au Loup Sports Week is a project of the L'Anse au Loup Volunteer Fire Brigade and the L'Anse au Loup Women's Institute.

THERE WILL BE A PUBLIC MEETING AT THE LAWRENCE D. O'BRIEN TOWN CENTRE BEGINNING AT 7 PM ON TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 23, 2010. THE PURPOSE OF THE MEETING IS TO GET THE PUBLIC'S INPUT INTO THE TOWN'S AND REGION'S ICSP. EVERYONE IS URGED TO ATTEND.

National Children's Memorial Day will be observed at the Lawrence D. O'Brien Town Centre on Sunday, December 13, 2009 beginning at 6:30 pm. Everyone is welcome (especially those who have experienced the loss of a child).

L'Anse au Loup will be holding its annual Santa Claus Parade on Saturday, December 19, 2009 beginning at 1:00 pm. Everyone is welcome to enter a float or just show up for the celebration. It all begins at the Lawrence D. O'Brien Parking lot and ends at the same place with prizes for the best floats and gifts from Santa.
